With a preseason overhaul and focus on the start of the regular season, things are finally looking up for the New England Patriots. The Patriots officially go to Miami.
And the team continues to bring two previously injured players back into the mix.
Jacobi Myers, who seems to be quarterback Mac Jones' best receiving option, returned to practice Monday in limited numbers. Running back Damien Harris is also back on the field after missing last Friday's preseason finale against the Las Vegas Raiders. Combine that return with a positive update on running back Ty Montgomery's injury situation and things look to be looking up in New England.
The Patriots are rushing to figure things out, especially on the offensive side of the ball, after a volatile preseason and erratic training his camp.
With less than two weeks to go until the season opener, the team needs all the help they can get with their final preparations.
